Some photos that I took late last year, from early November until the last weeks of January this year, that I spent some time in the Philippines to work on some personal stuff and Fili.

I arrived in Manila and spent 1 month there before heading to my hometown, Labo, Camarines Norte. I grew up in a small town with a wide river that cuts through its center, rich with rice fields and coconut plantations. I was met by a strong typhoon, one of the strongest to ever hit our place in quite some time. It has left us without electricity for 2 days and 3 days without cell service.

I spent a lot of time with my family during these weeks.

The photo of this unusual building is just across the house of my cousins, over time it has changed a lot, the latest addition to the facade is the extension of the ground floor, the green door is now an optical shop.

Places that I have seen growing up have changed since the last time I was home…

Also new places that I have discovered felt familiar.
